It often happens that 2D scans (panoramic, intraoral scans) do not provide enough information on root number and morphology. 3D/CBCT application in endodontic care facilitates the insight in morphology, number, position and length of root canals. It can be performed as a pre-therapeutical and post-therapeutical scan.
